Nelson is based in Silicon Valley, and his co-founder Amit Lohia has backgrounds in engineering, economics, and insurance. Since founding the company, Nelson and iLife have been featured by Forbes, Axios, Crunchbase, with recognition from G2, Plug and Play, and Stanford University. iLife today works with numerous insurance carriers in the Fortune 500, as well as top insurance IMO and BGA distributors in the United States.
Amit Lohia
Co-founder & CTO
As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of iLife Technologies, Amit Lohia oversees the company’s technological innovation and product development. With extensive experience in engineering, enterprise architecture, and data management, he leads the development of iLife’s Universal API, which simplifies system connectivity for insurance carriers and distributors. Amit also manages a team of engineers and architects, driving advancements in data architecture and API integrations.
Prior to founding iLife, Amit held leadership roles at Retail Pro International and InvestCloud, where he managed large-scale software development projects and enterprise IT solutions. He brings over two decades of experience in global software development, with expertise spanning databases, multi-language platforms, and enterprise systems.
